I heard that this place has a 2012+ Mazda5 so I went there looking for pieces and parts. There was some other interesting stuph as well
I so wanted to swap out my slightly worn RX8 shift knob for this one...
What is it? I’m guessing something Mopar or Studebaker.
‘We make an impact’ - yeah, the front end damage proves it...
‘Lice on Beach’ - thanks for the heads up...
NPoCP? A crack pipe is probably what burned this thing down...
Nice sunroof...
Paging David Tracy - probably not enough rust for him though...
I got whiplash just looking at it
Everything in this interior was disgusting. It’s a good thing that the parts I wanted were already gone so I didn’t have to crawl in there
Avoiding rear end collisions was not its, well, it’s right there on the trunklid...
And here’s where the one part I need should have been...

Who knew that Mazda Mazda5 taillights were in such high demand? Oh right, I’m Who so apparently people are always thinking I know things that I don’t.

This makes me wish I could go visit my local junkyard. Am I crazy or is there no way that Audi is worth 2700 USD?
Imo anything over 10 years old in the junk yard can’t be more than 2500$, it’s a law of nature I think

Since there are so few of these in the junkyard, whenever one comes in it gets picked over pretty quickly. All four segments were gone from this car, but I suspect that the right outer one was probably in rough shape. Mine was damaged by a rubber strap with two s-hooks that I ran over. It stuck in my tire, whipped around and broke my outer taillight and but some scratches and dents in the paint. You font really notice the damage on mine unless you take a moment to look for it, but I know it’s broken...

I never knew a bungee strap could cause so much damage. I’ve gotten them real tangled and smacked myself pulling them apart before so I guess I can see it. That just sounds like a series of unfortunate events.

You should have seen the Phaeton I saw at one a couple of years ago. I think they were asking $4K, and it might have been worth it.
Just last night I saw an add for a 2004 Jetta GLI and the guy was trying to get $4,500 for it. Yeah, I don't think so.

These things are pretty heavy-duty, and as I found out the hard way , can fcuk up your car a lot more than a run-of-the-mill lightweight little bungee cord.
My poor car - I try to take care of it but between this, people in parking lots slamming their doors into mine, people with trailer hitches backing up and puncturing my bumper and people parked behind me on the street dragging the corner of their car into mine I have a lot more combat damage than I would like. In none of these situations have I done anything to warrant this number of dents and dings - I always leave space behind and in front of me, in parking lots I make sure I’m in the center of my spot, etc., but others aren’t as careful or don’t GAF about their car or mine. Of course, in all of those situations where someone messed up my vehicle there wasn’t a note to be found, nobody taking responsibility for their actions.

That really sucks. I’m always funding new dings but I don’t do a lot of city driving so trailer hitch punctures aren’t as likely. Especially that strap which should have been strapped down more securely. Makes you wonder if the load stayed in as well.

No B5, A4 is worth 2700 bucks. Unless it’s a clean manual v6 Avant. This one is probably a 1.8t just assuming by the way its been modified.

I wonder if VW had any idea what would become of all those 1.8t engines....oh those poor innocent motors. They just wanted to do German corolla things. Look at them now
